Well since I'm from Alabama a state that doesn't have any professional teams, we have the privilege of picking any team to route for. Well a long long long time ago I picked Dallas and every year its the same up and down, on top on bottom, talking smack pulling hair out good time. No matter how good of a season we have and or how promising the post season looks we find a way to PHUCK it up. I just don't get it, being a player myself If I was DIRK there is no way anybody is taking that last shot but me. We need him to either step up and take all responsibility for this team or draft some young blood and let him play a gasol, kirilenko, stoudamire type role which he might be a lil more comfortable with. I love my team but they make me soooo made most of the time. I had to cool off for the last couple of days just to get this post to you guys. Once I saw we had San Antonio I was like NOOOO, experience goes a long way and George Hill just flat out did his thing. Better luck next year, I will still be here cheering you guys on. Hey Coach throw me a jersey I will come out of retirement to throw a couple of dimes to DIRK.

Yeah I feel just like the lil kid in the picture above. First off I'm traveling on a SATURDAY for work which always suck because you more than likely you already have 40 hours so this is all OVERTIME. Then there are no Delta flights available for the times I need to travel so my dreams of First Class are ruined. This is fine though no big deal we will just take this Continental flight and make due right???...ummm No this is where the problems begin. So I usually arrive to the airport an hour before my flights leave to have ample time to check in and make it to my gate, well today everybody and there mama decides to fly Continental, so with me being there an hour early I still barely make my plane and I mean barely as I walking up the lady is calling LAST CALLS....whewww I made it only to find out they stuck your boy in the MIDDLE seat between Mr. I like to make new friends and discuss my life history and Mrs. Today's my birthday and me and 1000 friends are headed to Las Vegas for Spring Break faceass. So needless to say I got nooooooooo sleep on this flight. Now the adventure begins. Just yesterday I was discussing with my girl how Houston has the worst layout possible for connecting flights, how long the hallways were, and far away the terminals are from one another.

I had to get from terminal E15 to B70 in 20 mins. Not to mention that there is no helpful technology for speeding up this process even the little moving flat escalator thing's were broke in this great establishment. So after running through the pasture, climbing two mountains, and swimming across a creek I finally make it to the stairwell that leads me to the train for terminal B. I jump on and sprint to the gate just in time to see the plane backing out...NOOOOOOOO now what because I was on a strict time schedule check me out. It's the weekend and the city that I'm traveling to is smaller than your neighborhood wal-mart so everything closes at 5 today. I purposely took the flights that I did to make sure I made it to the airport before the Car Rental place closes and I'm stranded in Mayberry. So the manager on duty goes to the computer and smirks telling me the computer already calculated that I would miss my flight and booked me on the next flight out 3 hours from now. WHATTTT so you telling me they know this place is fucked up and just scheduled me another flight because they knew it was impossible to make it that's the BULLSHIT. Now I will not make it to the airport in time to get my rental car. Which will now make me have to cancel my hotel reservation and make me late for work tomorrow can this trip get any worse. YES but of course it can lets continue, ---> 3 hours later I finally board the plane and make it to my destination only to find out my luggage seems to have grown two legs and walked away. ((((Screaming)))) You can't be serious man, I was waiting for somebody to just jump out and say you've been PUNK'D this is all a joke and my friends come out running after me with Ashton laughing and shit. After waiting on some help for 30 mins the lady went in the back and magically found my belongings if not I was going to be stuck in Mayberry with only a book bag full of socks and boxer briefs from my carry on. Now back to this horrible day, remember that the city shuts down at 5 well guess who also shuts down with everything else you guessed it Taxi's and Cabs now I'm stuck at the Airport of Mayberry literally. One of the soldiers who was on the plane with me was nice enough to give me a lift to the hotel where I was giving a room to end this day of chaos, only the receptionist gives me the wrong room key when will this nightmare end. At least the hotel is new, get in my room to only fight with cable and internet for 30 mins this blog post had to be written. I'm bout go to sleep before something else happens...outtie people... next time your day is going shitty just remember Ray's been there and I feel your pain.

Today I would like to introduce you guys to XV (Donavan Johnson)

He has talent....kid from Wichita, Kansas who's farther was a record label A&R and an employee at BET his love for music was instilled early in his childhood. The name XV comes from the roman numeral 15 the age in which he began to pursue the industry seriously. His career had a early spark opening for such acts as The Ying Yang Twins, Mike Jones, Lil Jon and defeated four local Hip-Hop acts with over 600 votes to open up for G-Unit. So it's very apparent that the guy has been grinding for a sec. After being looked over last year for XXL Freshman class, a lot of people thought for sure after last years mixtape "Everybody's Nobody" he was a shoe in for this year.

Even XV felt some kind of way dropping Bad News last year and Bad News II this year after the list was final.

So last year on August 18, 2009 Covert Skate shop (Orlando,FL) was burglarized, the thieves took everything in the shop besides 20 right foot display shoes from the showroom. For the majority of show owner this would be devastating and maybe even end in a closing of their business. Well not the story for this owner Tommy Mot, they took this bad situation and decided to turn it into something positive. He donated the remaining shoes to his favorite artist to customize and present in a future Art gallery. That time has arrived, RIGHT FOOT FORWARD gallery now showing at BOLD HYPE GALLERY in orlando,fl from February 20th - March 6th. I went the first day but arrived an hour to early so didn't get to interview any of the artist who I'm sure were probably there for the grand opening. Since I goofed off on my timing I will have to make plans to get back and see this gallery in person and so should you, give the shop a call for time.

What's good people? How has the community been without me? Well I have been busy like crazy for the last week to say the least. Had to move which is a full time job within itself. I know I told you guys I would be doing a project for my new spot and its half way complete so keep tuning in for the pics. The dressers are finished now I am working on the artwork for the walls, here are a few pics of the dressers after my initial sanding and stripping. They are completely stripped, sanded, and stained now.

I will give you a finished look at the product a lil later, until then just imagine how cool it looks LOL....So I started moving last saturday and I am still pulling things out of boxes I just want to (((scream))). After all this exhausting moving I was even crazy enough to help a friend move his entertainment center this saturday, one entertainment center was like child play to what I had been through this week so it was nothing.

So I have been away from my blog and computers period for the last week right, man when I returned to the blog surf yesterday I saw all the XXL Top 10 Freshman videos thus far and the list looking proper so far it goes: Pill, Wiz Khalifa, Nipsey, Fashawn, J.Cole, Big Sean, Freddie Gibbs.....only time will tell if XV makes the list this year hmmmm we will see. I've actually heard of all these artist besides Fashawn so guess I will do a lil research on buddy and get familiar, last years list did pretty well for the most part still not a fan of Charles "Pinkguy aka smackcentral" Hamilton but hey he does have a couple of cool tracks. We already know I'm leaning towards this guy as the leader of the pack J.Cole "The Warm Up" mixtape was the best thing dropped last year including "So far Gone" yeah I said it J.Cole had the best mixtape of 2009 hands down and you can tell em I said that.

Randomly browsing around my facebook a few months ago I stumbled into this kid, FOSTER college kid from my hometown of MOBILE, AL flowing over some beats like boats over calm water. Impressed with the flow much different from what I'm use to at home or anywhere to be honest, actually talking about something besides guns, drugs, and bullshit. So I decided to check him out week after week as he dropped freestyles in anticipation of his first body of work "Basically I'm a Dreamer". Recently he dropped a video for the tape and if I must say so myself nicccccceeeeeee. Keep it up homie, straight HEAT.

Brief Hiatus

Well what it is my good people, it seems as if I am losing touch huh? Well not really just getting a lil more responsibility on my plate so less time to post, don't worry we will be back in sync sooner than later. In the middle of an address change also making adjustments for a new addition to the family have to prepare for the lil ones. So whenever I have these free nights I get a chance to catch up on the past days events. Lets see what I got for you people...

So Asics slaps us in the face again with some ill colorways for the Gel Lyte Collection this time with the Winter Pack. It's like everytime I see this shoe in a different color I see it for the first time. Dang the grey, red, and lime green mix so well. Sweet shoe and fresh combo I could make these feel right at home on my feet. It's almost a half and half shoe while the toe is done in grey leather the midsole and back is black, but there isn't a clash just a smooth transition. NICE

So the new header can be taken in two different aspects of my life right now. First and foremost I would like to say "Life is a blank Canvas, and you the artist and only you the artist can paint it a different way everyday. Chose your paint wisely". On another hand I told you guys I was in the midst of moving, with a move comes new decoration and I was inspired to do a painting for my new spot so right now I'm in Picasso mode, watch me work my people. CLASSIC one way or another.

Do we work for ourselves, do we work for our family, or do we simply work because we are taught
to as a child and we are just following suit? Of course we work for the money, that's a given but
why do some of us work for less then what our work is worth? Had one co-worker tell me we work
for housing and food, well if this is the case, why not stay at home with your parents. I think we
work because that is what we think we are suppose to do and we want to keep up with the rest of
the world. Because it doesn't cost a dime to build a hut and food comes from the earth. So at the

What's going on people, been a long and exciting past couple of weeks. First, let me start off by saying Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, hope you guys had half the time I did. Being surrounded by family and friends I can truly say I really enjoyed myself. Majority of my family came up from Mobile,Al to spend Christmas in Sunny Ol Florida with Mickey and the crew.

We had a chance to catch a Orlando Magic game, go ice skating, eat a 30 inch pizza well at least attempt, and watch my little niece tear everyone's presents up everyday until they were all gone....you have to love the lil ones.

On Christmas Eve I woke up and headed out the door around 5:30a.m. headed to the mall where people camped out all night for the Space Jam release, without a worry in the world why you ask????? Because I get to thank the most important person with all due respect......THE CONNECT.....by 6:15 I was walking out with my XMAS list from below. the day before I went to the mall to talk to MY CONNECT, the guy in front of the line tried to sell me his spot and laughed when I told him I would get the J's and not freeze my butt off all night, guess we know who won that battle in the end.

Over the holiday's I took my significant other on a cruise to celebrate a special day in our lives, had a chance to scratch off another destination on my list of places I would like to visit, and also randomly ran into KRS-ONE, haha it was crazy how I was looking at the pictures on the wall from the photographer who takes a picture everytime you turn arouond and just so happen to see him and his family, my friends didn't believe me until we were exiting the ship to explore the Bahamas and ran into him in the hallway. Brought in the New Year with white sand at my feet and baby blue water as far as the eye could see. So see I wasn't neglecting you guys for no reason I was living the LIFESTYLE don't be so harsh on me please. Thought I would leave you guys with a clip from KRS-ONE enjoy.

He has talent.....Richard Andrew born and raised in Yonkers, New York Outasight is a hard working artist who has been grinding for some years just to get his true chance at glory. I mean he has been noted on various blogs from nah right to okayplayer. He has been mentioned in magazines such as XXL and Urb, and also graced the front pages of Myspace Music. So why haven't you heard of him yet, I don't know what took me so long to get wind of this guy. He tries to explain it in the video below, check it out and tell me what you think. Success doesn't just happen over night, which makes it just that much sweeter when you reach it. His style is his own, I can't really explain it rapping but singing welll ummm singing but rapping I don't know it just sounds really good to me. So this week I had the opportunity to see two of my favorite new artist, their songs are in constant rotation blasting through my speakers, Mike Posner and Big Sean. I wasn't even expecting the bonus I got with the show opener PAZ. Paz is a singer/ Guitar player/ cool dude, with catchy tunes to keep the crowds attention. He had an interesting way of getting the crowds attention which instantly made me think of the band from the movie "Hangover" where he covers popular Rap/R&B songs and mixes them with his own music. On to the Main Event...these guys showed up and showed out just like I knew they would. The show was full of energy and crowd participation...jumping...signing along...they made sure the crowd had a good time.

So just as Mike comes out to the stage the most predictable thing happens...of course, my camera turns off....DANG IT....but no problem I turned to the camera phone when I thought it was picture time. The show was fun, I had great position can't say seats because we were standing and overall I was pleased. Continue to support these up and coming artist, if they hit your town buy a ticket or two I did...

Mike even blessed us with a new track...I didn't receive this one on my One Foot out the Door download....
